Watch Lin-Manuel Miranda and the Saturday Night Live Crew Poke Fun at Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo ($WFC) is having a really bad year.

Last month, it was revealed that the over 5,000 Wells Fargo employees created millions of duplicate accounts for Wells Fargo customers without permission. They did this to meet impossibly strict quotas mandated by the bank’s top brass.

The bank then used the inflated numbers and fees generated by these new accounts to appear like they were doing better than they were without these bogus accounts. Now that the Wells Fargo’s secrets have come to light, the company’s stock is down and their customers are angry.

Fortunately for us, Saturday Night Live recently had the perfect response to the scandal. Watch as Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda joins the cast of SNL to update the classic musical The Music Man for more modern times…and peddle a few bogus accounts in the process.

You know your company is in trouble when Saturday Night Live is making fun of you. I wonder if this will come up in their earnings on Friday…
