Here’s what you need to know for today:
- Today is the last trading day of the year. You have until 4 PM to get in your last-minute investments or sell your stock. The market will resume on January 3rd after taking an observed holiday the day before.
- The Dow is slightly up as of this morning. though it will likely not hit the 20,000 milestone in 2016. If the market keeps up, it likely will next year.
- Since the market is closed for the next few days, we’ll be taking a bit of a breather until it reopens. We’ll still have some great tips for 2017 coming your way.
